Each taco sits on freshly made frybread topped high with savory, delicious flavors and toppings inspired by Indigenous resilience. The ndn taco itself was created out of resistance, necessity, and hardship. Historically, my people (and other Indigenous kin) were forced onto reservations and were given "rations" by the government.
